Buffets

40th wedding anniversary/buffet luncheon

Self serve buffet, then guests will sit down

Savouries

To be served with pre luncheon drinks

  • Moroccan fillo pastries. Prawns, rice vermicilli, onion, lemon, a little paprika, cumin. [Hot]
  • Zuccini fritters Small pancakes/fritters. Freshly grated zuccinis, fetta cheese, mint, and dill. [Hot]
  • Traditional quiche. Bite sized pastries, bacon, Swiss cheese,onion, eggs, cream [Hot]
  • Vietnamese Rolls. Rice paper rolls filled with minced chicken and Chinese dried mushrooms, lightly deep-fried, and served with a fish/lime juice sauce.

Buffet

  • Neck of pork served with an apple sauce
  • Tenderloin of beef. [grass fed] Bernaise sauce
  • Platter of sliced roulade, spinach,ricotta cheese, lightly sauteed leeks,slices of leg ham
  • Bowls of baked potatoes.
  • Beetroot & goat‘s cheese salad with toasted almonds & spinach. A lovely salad
  • Salad of broccolini and snow peas,hazelnuts
  • Maggies Bread

Sweets

  • Lemon tarts
  • Tiramisu

Garden wedding buffet

  • 60 guests plus
  • 10 children - chicken strips in boxes for them.

Savouries

Served post ceremony

  • Buckwheat crepes. Filled with spinach ,caramelised onion, fresh corn, and ricotta cheese [Hot]
  • Mini pastry cases filled with caramelised onion, bocconcini cheese, olive slivers
  • Vegetable/crab rice paper rolls. Served with a dipping sauce
  • Samosas. Triangular bite sized pastries filled with lamb, garam masala (toasted Indian spices) served with lemon/mint chutney.

Buffet/sit down

  • Whole poached ocean trout. Served with a lemon/parsley sauce [or one of your choosing]
  • Tarragon chicken – baked whole and cut into serving sized pieces
  • Tenderloin of beef — bernaise sauce
  • Beetroot & goat’s cheese salad with toasted almonds & spinach. A lovely salad
  • Salad of avocado, grilled red capsicum, organic button mushrooms. Light vinaigrette.
  • Bowls of baked potatoes
  • Small bread rolls on plates on tables and some extra on buffet table

Sweets

  • Vanilla pannacotta with fresh fruit
  • Meringue cake with almonds (Gateau Progres) An almond flavoured meringue filled with mocha cream and garnished with toasted flaked almonds.
